Sales Policy

Deposits/Reservations: We require a deposit of half down to hold a kid of your choice. This amount goes towards the final purchase price. If you cancel on your end, we will retain a minimum of $200 of the deposit for our time and lost sale. We will refund you if for some reason the kid passes away or it is discovered it has an illness or defect before pickup. We accept Paypal or Venmo. If you choose PayPal, we ask that you use the Friends and Family payment option to avoid fees on our end of the transaction or add the necessary transaction fee if you choose Goods/Services. Kids are not considered sold until a deposit is received.

For reservations, it is free to be put on a reservation list for an unborn kid. I will accept three doeling reservations and three buckling reservations on a breeding. If you specify a breeding, you will be placed on that reservation list. It goes in order of whoever was first and following. If the reservation list is full, we can put you on a wait list. Sometimes people back out of reservations. In that case we would move onto the waiting list. You have 48 hours to decide if you would like the kid. I will ask for a phone number that is best to get a hold of you when it is time.

Pickup: The kids are available for pickup at 3-12 weeks of age. We bottle raise our kids as we feel this is the healthiest option for them. Once the kid is born that you have a reservation on, I will contact you (Or you can contact me) and a deposit is required to secure your kid 48 hours after you decide you want it. We will schedule a pick up date when a deposit has been paid. If the kid is not picked up on the scheduled day, a $5 a day boarding fee will apply. The rest of the payment is due on the day of pick up where you will receive the goat, its papers, and any information for the goat.

Guarantees: We will guarantee the health of the kid on the day of pickup. However, when you bring a kid home, there are a few steps you should do to ensure a smooth transition for the kid. It can be a stressful time for goats and that is when problems can arise. We recommend watching for signs of stress. We also recommend giving your goat probiotics to help your goat’s rumen remain in good health. Also watch for an outbreak in coccidia as a transition can cause a bloom in coccidia. We are also not responsible for the animal's health after leaving our care because we cannot control what happens to it from here.  After pickup, the goat becomes your responsibility.  (So make sure you're prepared!) We can not guarantee the height of the animal once full grown, nor can we guarantee the performance of the animal.

Notes: We reserve the right to retain any kid at any time.  We also reserve the right to refuse a sale to any individual or farm at our discretion. We also reserve the right of refusal.  We are not responsible for taking in animals that we have sold to individuals as we have our own responsibility to maintain biosecurity for our herd. Our current price range is $150 for wethers, $450 and up for bucklings, and $600 and up for doelings. We may occasionally have adult animals available for sale, but we do not run a reservation list for this.  You can keep an eye on our FB page and website.
